| Basic Principles for Playing Pool Online |

The object of the game is to try to sink whichever type of balls you make (stripes or solid) after breaking the rack during the rest of the game with the cue ball. The eight ball is always the last one.
- Try not to sink the cue ball and always sink in the eight ball last.
Sinking the cue ball on any shot means you loose your turn and your opponent will be able to place the cue ball anywhere he wants behind the break line.
- In Tournament, If you are the first to sink a ball you are basically deciding if you are stripped or solids.
If the first ball that went in was stripped and it was your turn, all you have to do is sink in all stripped balls. Your opponent will sink in solids.
- When playing Solo, the only rule is to sink the eight ball last.
Sink in all the balls in the fastest time possible.

Object of the Game
The object of the game is to try to sink whichever type of balls you are entitled to. One player must pocket the solid balls (1-7) while the other player must pocket the striped balls (9- 15) leaving the eight ball last.
Breaking the Rack
The first player to arrive at the table will break always shooting behind the head string. Whichever you make (stripe or solid) are the types of balls you will be trying to sink for the rest of the game. If you fail to pocket, your opponent will be able to shoot either striped or solids.
Turns
Shoot as long as you keep sinking your balls. It is not your opponent’s turn until you miss a shot, sink your opponent's ball or your 30 seconds are up. Player will continue shooting until he fails to pocket a ball of his group, commits a foul or his 30 seconds are up.
The Winner
The player who pots all the balls he's entitled to sinking the eight ball last wins. Player can also win if the eight ball is pocketed illegally by opponent or if opponent abandons the game.
Fouls
Sinking the cue ball.
Pocketing the eight ball illegally.
When failing to hit the cue ball
Contacts opponent's ball first with the cue ball.

The formula used is the following:
Points = 2 * “Games won” + Balls + “Ranking page before finishing the game” + “Games finished” + 7 “Perfect Games” – 32 * “Abandoned Games” – 32 * “Deserted Games”
The following formula will be applied to whoever wins first place:
Points = Balls + 7 * “Perfect Games” – 30 * “Games lost” – 32 * “Deserted Games” – 32 * “Deserted Games”
- Solo Ranking
The fastest you sink in all balls, followed by the eight ball, the better your position will be. There’s an eight limit rule a day when it comes to abandoning games.

| When my Opponents 30 Seconds are Up, Why isn’t it my Turn? |
Internet latency connection can cause the following effect: it’s your opponent turn and his time is up. The clock has 0 seconds to go but he keeps on shooting and the system doesn’t make the switch. All of this is caused by the webs latency causing temporary time delays.
The clock in your screen is ticking in line with real time but the system has to wait for the shot to reach its computer, reproduce it and then switch turns. This is why you’ll see the clock with 0 seconds left and it’ll appear your opponent is still shooting. |
